Mantel Makeover

Wanted to post a few pictures of my new mantel (well, I actually got it in August, but better late than never)....Ty had a local carpenter make me this awesome mantel, and I got to put my touch on it...it was my "graduation/hallelujah you finally got a job" present!! We couldn't be happier with the way it turned out!!

Oh, and here are the before pictures....what a difference!....it was one of those things that kept getting pushed to the bottom of the to-do-list!

This is my biggest furniture project yet, and it was so much fun!!!....I finished this armoire and changing table up a few weeks before I left Jackson. These pieces are for a sweet little baby boy that will make his grand entrance soon...

Oh, and here is a peek at his precious bedding:

Really wish I would have taken before/after pictures of this chair because it was in pretty bad shape....no telling how old it was, but it was such a lucky find! My daddy found it in a building that was about to be torn down and asked me to "fix it up" for him. Hmmm...Beaux and I think it turned out fabulous :)
